Out and About with Oceanside Real Estate Agent Mindi Landry
As an Oceanside Real Estate agent, I cover a lot of ground and get to see quite a few things. In North San Diego County we have so many wonderful things to do and see. I have a great one to share with you. Do you have something to do this Tuesday? How about next Tuesday? Or the one after that? If not, then you are in luck, as Tuesday shall be called from this point on: Free Museum Tuesday! That’s right, starting July 24th, 2 great Oceanside museums will now be free every day in 2012!
The California Surf Museum has been dedicated since 1986 to archiving and displaying surfboards, surfing equipment, surf art, memorabilia, magazines, videos & photographs, and more, not to mention very knowledgeable staff and a great gift shop. The Oceanside Museum of Art is a cultural gem hidden in a glass and concrete building off the I-5. Housed in Irving Gill Building, which was the site of the original Oceanside city hall, the museum puts on 15 contemporary art exhibits every year, not to mention concerts, fundraising parties, films, culinary events, and evening events.
So pack a lunch, make a day of it, and come down to The California Surf Museum, or The Oceanside Museum of Art. Why not see both? If it’s on Tuesday, it’s free!
If you’re thinking about selling your Oceanside home, please call me at 760-737-3767. I have 37 years of experience in North San Diego County Real Estate. Mindi Landry, your Oceanside Real Estate Agent.
