November 6-7, Escondido Renaissance Faire
The age of chivalry will be recreated among the wonders of nature in an idealic setting. Travel back to the 16th century and the glories of the reign of Elizabeth the First. Activities usually include battle pageants, music in the streets, jugglers and hundreds of costumed re-enactors performing in the giant outdoor play.

November 11-14, Annual Dixon Lake Trout Derby
A fun-filled event for anglers of all ages! Many ways to win great prizes. The only cost to enter the derby is that each fisherman must purchase a daily permit, normally required to fish the lake anyway, plus adults 16 and over must also have a California Fishing License.Time: 6:00 am – 4:45 pm
